I was asked to paint the Theatre Royal for an exhibition of aspects of the Theatre Royal held at the Biscuit Factory, an arts venue in Shieldfield Newcastle.
I tried to capture the mood of ‘hustle and bustle’ each lunchtime in Grey Street.
The Theatre Royal is a magnificent building to paint and a large part of Grainger Street, one of Newcastle’s most famous streets.
