“Since the day I can remember I have always drawn. I was told off in school for drawing in exercise books and, every chance I got, I drew and drew. All types of subjects – everything and anything around me. So many people commented on my drawings I was able to make a little pocket money selling my work and I think my creative entrepreneur was born!”
Linda’s career started through a love of textiles; with her creating exclusive, luxury carpet designs for hotels, ships, leisure facilities and individuals. This creative love of design saw her go on to work on greeting cards, wrapping paper and stationery for the likes of Hallmark, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and WH Smith.
Educated in Fine Art, and with over 35 years’ experience of both exhibiting and championing art across the North-East, Clifford William Blakey has become one of the most influential artists of the region.
Malcolm draws his inspiration from the North East due to its unmistakeable character and its features that have been defined and formed by its industrial roots. It was this industrial nature that fascinated him as his forefathers and following generations were in the lead and coal mining industry on the Aston Moor and Tynedale.
Surrounded by the rolling hills of Northumberland, Mary Ann Rogers uses the beautiful medium of watercolour to create vibrant paintings. Her in-depth knowledge allows her to really understand the medium to produce unique pieces in her own timeless style.
